4 200% funded with 3 weeks to go!Beitrag von Bulkhead Interactive Hey Backers!Last night, we reached a massive milestone with 3 weeks left to go in the Battalion 1944 campaign. We smashed our funding goal for the second time in a row, doubling our budget and making £203,952 (Almost $300,000) at the time of writing. We can’t say this enough, the outpouring of support from the community has been immense. Thank you!1 week ago we were about to launch our campaign, wondering whether Kickstarter was the right decision and if a classic WW2 shooter was what the public wanted as badly as we do. As a community you’ve not only dispelled any doubt but also doubled our Kickstarter funding budget. Every single penny will go towards making Battalion 1944 a classic in its own right. Next stop; £300,000. This is the sort of money that can help us challenge the modern shooters of today. Let's make Battalion a game to remember, together.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0DO5vTm25MkWe’re also still blasting our way to the top of the Steam Greenlight rankings, currently ranked #2 out of 2104 games on the platform with 15,555 yes votes. If you haven’t voted yet (PC gamer or not) please help support Battalion 1944 by heading over to the Greenlight page and clicking the ‘Yes!’ button and encourage your friends to do the same. We’ve been watching our forums closely, with a build-up of activity over the past week. We’ve had some great community contributions so far, many questions and suggestions which we love to read. We’re looking into hiring a full time community manager, so forum users can have a direct point of contact to help with the massive load of messages and support we’re receiving. We’ll update you when that happens! Forum user J-C from Belgium posted his collection of classic WW2 shooters, which we just had to share:So, community question time! What was your favourite classic multiplayer shooter and what design aspects did you love? Answer us in the comments below.Stretch goals are just around the corner. We’ve had them planned for a while, and we’re sticking to our original plan. We don’t do empty promises at Bulkhead; which is why we are working on in-game assets to show you all exactly what we’re working towards before we announce all of Battalion 1944’s stretch goals. We’ve also rounded up a few press quotes we thought you’d like:That’s all the news for today’s update. Help us develop Battalion 1944 together with the growing community and support the Kickstarter campaign. By pledging and sharing you’re directly growing Battalion’s community and budget, pushing the return of a classic skill based shooter set in World War 2 ever closer.- Bulkhead Interactive
